List Building and Traffic Wave…My Why!

Hello Everyone,

If you’ve been following me for any length of time, you’ll
know I’m a big proponent of List Building. Actually,  it’s
the main reason I started Premium Leads Club.

I know from my own, and the experience of other successful
marketers, companies, and statistics, that email marketing
is the #1 way to profit online.

Today I got this from TW Sales and decided some may
find it was of interest…

It’s been a minute since I posted!

Hey Folks,

I recently wrote a short article/post on Ad Tracking. I posted it to one of my other sites,  I decided to re-post it here.

So today I just wanted to touch a bit
on tracking your ads. Not going to be very
long:-) Just a few things to keep in mind!

It can be important to know where your
traffic is paying off. But, you should always
keep in mind there are a lot of variables.

Sometimes you may think that a certain source
is not giving you results. But also keep in
mind a few things.

Is it your subject/headline that is, or
is not converting? (this is one place where A/B testing
can come in handy). Trying different headlines
or subject lines to see which get higher open
rates can make a difference. Then consider your
content. I really like to impress short and sweet.
Reason being is that people generally are not going
to read a long sales letter. Let your web page/
Site do the Talking/Selling.

This is just a little of what could affect your
tracking. There are a lot of ways to use A/B
or split page tracking in your tracking efforts.

There are many Ad Tracking Services out there.
I think one of the best free ones is Leads Leap.
They have a variety of free tools, and you can
earn,  and advertise too.

You won’t get a lot of statistics, just hits,
but all of our GOT Sites have a Viral Url Cloaker.
It also gives you the little bit of monetization
of advertising your url to the site at the same

If you are on our Traffic Wave team, or belong to
Traffic Wave at all, they also have Ad Tracking.
Again, it is kinda limited to hits.

We also have an url shortener here:
It is simple but has some cool features too.

In the mean time here is a Free Package to help
with your Email Marketing:

Have a Great Day and Be Prosperous,

Making Money w/Emails… also applies to Solo Ads!

I make sales daily. There are many factors involved. Does your headline prompt them to open. Does your content prompt them to take action. Is your product something they are interested in. Is it something that is saturated already.

Do you use the pre-written messages for products and services that 100,000 other people are using, and people are sick of seeing. Most people have to be exposed 7-11 times to a product or service before they will take action. I have literally millions of ads a day running. My mailing list is 18 yrs old, and several thousand people are on it. I have spent years grooming my list. I get tire kickers, and freebie seekers, sure… but most of the people on my list are proven buyers, past customers and people who know me that I have built trust with.

In a big way, it is a numbers game also, 14,000 is a drop in the bucket in reality:-) For instance I mail to Herculist daily which is currently 143,000 members, that is a little over 1 million emails a week, and I only register 50 hits and 1 or 2 sales. Some weeks No sales and it’s hard just to get a signup:-) But Herculist is a drop in the bucket too, compared to how many other resources I use for advertising every day. It is a numbers game again, and you have to remember a lot of people use email accounts that are just for their safelist and they NEVER read the emails that go there.

So as you can see,  many, many, factors are involved. People think they are gonna be Internet Marketers… and get rich overnight. Occasionally a couple do. But how many millions of marketers are there out there? And, the numbers grow by thousands every week. The percentage of business done online every year is daunting, and growing at phenomenal rates. I don’t know your resources of course, but we are all competing with corporations that have huge advertising and marketing expenditures. A lot of the guru marketers you see out there are not individuals at all. They are literally corporations under the guise of some Guru Name.

I started Marketing in 2003 and am now what I call Semi-Retired. Now it’s part hobby, part business for me as I will likely never quit fully:-) There were a lot of times I hated it,  and I wasn’t making a dime, month after month broke. Never making sales, and putting many hours and thousands of dollars into it, with very little results.  But I have built systems over the years that just keep paying residual income. They just need what I call regular maintenance, and attention.

I just started running Traffic Sites a year ago, kinda as a hobby, but, I treat it like a business! It is not where I make my money…long way from it.

How big is your mailing list? have you spent time with those people and built trust. ‘The Money is in the List’ is not just a saying! Do you offer quality products and services that are targeted to those specific people you want to make sales to. I think the number one thing most endeavoring marketers fail to see the importance of…is that their #1 Priority is building their list, hands down. Email Marketing is an extremely powerful tool when done right!!!

Do you invest enough time and money to a specific business plan, with a clear vision of what your looking to achieve as an individual marketer, or a company?
Having a clear and precise business plan is paramount to success.

So if you read this far, I guess I didn’t bore you too much:-) I suppose
I was in the mood to share my thoughts and see what I could offer to help.

Some tips from a Veteran Marketer,

that I learned both online,  and in the

‘Brick and Mortar’ marketing

world.  This is by no means… all

inclusive, or exhaustive, and not

necessarily in order:-)

You Need to promote less things,  in more ways.

Less is better,  you must succeed in one thing,

before you move on to another.  Mastery is key!

When you learn to make one business successful

you can apply the principals to another.

People who fail Internet Marketing have  these

6 things, at the least…  in common.

1.) They don’t build a list. ( This should be your #1 Focus

in my opinion:-))  Yes, even the wise ‘Brick and Mortar’

businesses do this!  But… it must be a quality list,  that

has been groomed, and you have built trust with. Quality

over quantity,  most definitely applies here!

2.) Jumping from program to program, always wanting the next

shiny thing/object  – usually promising easy riches/money,

(my advice:  “leave the shiny things for the raccoons”).  Oh,

and yes….   Push Button easy!  I’ve heard it a lot, we are a

instant gratification culture in this day and age.

3.) Spread themselves too thin by following the, ‘Multiple

Income Streams’  advice of others. A lot of whom have

never made a dime. Yes, multiple streams are good,  you

shouldn’t have all your eggs in one basket,  but I believe

building one business at a time is most effective,  for most

people,  then… rinse and repeat.

4.) Don’t treat their business as just that… a business,

they act like it’s a hobby. They don’t have a written

business plan, with objectives and goals clearly

5.) They don’t want to realize that capital, investing both

time and money,  is pretty much the reality of owning any

business… in the real world and online!  And yes, time is

money, unless you believe your time is worth nothing!

Relates to #4 again.

6.) Last on this list, they are the type pf person that either

doesn’t take action…. or quits when they don’t see

instantaneous, or fast results!  This relates to #2

*** Bonus Tip: Build Your List, Build

Your List, Build Your List….

Best Regards,

The Power Of Autoresponders

If you own an Internet marketing or online

business, you’ve probably grown tired of

answering the never ending amount of email you get

on a daily basis. Most companies get hundreds of

emails a day, many of which are questions from

clients and potential customers. If you’ve grown

tired of answering email – you should look into

an autoresponder and discover how it can work for

you and save you a lot of precious time.

When someone sends out an email, they expect to

get an instant reply. Although you can meet this

demand with some emails, it can be very hard to

send an email to over 100 people – especially

when you have hundreds of other things to do with

your day. You can always hire additional staff to

answer emails, or work longer hours yourself.

These options may be good for some – although

many decide to use the power of an autoresponder

The 3 Things To Avoid When Emailing Your List

When you decide to have an opt-in list, it is not just a matter of sending your subscribers your promotional newsletters or catalogs. There are many things to consider in avoiding many complications. While there are so many ways you can make people subscribe to your list, there are also some things you must do to avoid subscribers from wanting to get off from your list.

Aside from that, you also want to avoid any problems with the law and your internet service provider or ISP. There are now many laws and rules that are applied to help protect the privacy of the internet users from spamming and unwanted mails. With the popularity of the electronic mail as a medium for marketing because of the low cost, many companies have seized the opportunity and have flooded many people’s e-mail accounts with promotional mail.

But, with an opt-in list, you avoid this annoyance because people subscribe to the list; they want to receive the newsletters and promotional materials. They have consented to being on the list by subscribing themselves, just don’t forget to put an unsubscribe feature every time in your opt-in list so that you avoid any confusion. There may be times when an email account was provided when the real owner didn’t want to subscribe.

It is essential that you keep your list clean and manageable. Arrange it by using the many tools and technologies available for your opt-in list. Do not worry; your investment in this marketing strategy is well worth it with all the coverage you will get which will likely be converted into sales then to profit.

Keep yourself and your business out of trouble and potential run-ins with the law and the internet service providers. Keep your operation legit and clean. Your reputation as a legitimate businessman and a legitimate site depends on your being a straight and true marketing strategist. As a tip, here are three things to avoid when emailing your list.

1) Take notice of your unsuccessful sends. These are the e-mails that bounce. Bounced emails, also known as un-deliverable messages, are those messages that, for whatever reason, were not successfully received by the intended recipient.

There are bounces that happen or occur because the server was busy at that time but can still be delivered in another time. There are also bounces because the inbox of the recipient is full at that time. There are those bounce messages that are simply un-deliverable ever. The reason for this is that it may be an invalid email address, a misspelled email address, or an email address that was abandoned and erased already.

Manage your list by putting markings on those that bounce. Erase an email account from your list so that you have an accurate statistics and records as to how many are actually receiving your mail. You may also want to check the spellings of your email addresses in your list. One common mistake is when an N instead of an M is placed in the .com area.

2) Always provide an unsubscribe feature in your site and an unsubscribe link in your mails. When someone in your list files a request to be unsubscribed, always take that request seriously. If you don’t take them off your list and keep sending them your e-mails, you are now sending them spam mail.

When you are reported as a spammer, you and your business can get into a lot of trouble. You can be reported to the authorities and maybe blacklisted by many internet service providers. You will lose a lot of subscribers this way and many more in potential subscribers.

3) Do not provide pornographic or shocking and disturbing content in your newsletters. It is hard to decipher the age of the recipient and many complaints may stem from these. Controversial issues also are to be avoided to not be branded by your subscribers. Stick to the nature of your site and business.

Always remember these tips in this article so that you can have a healthy relationship with your subscribers as well as be kept within the boundaries of what is allowed in sending mails to an opt-in list.
